# Navigation Pane: Application Menu

Switch between different Beast Core 6 plugins using either the navigation icons on the far left or the full text options on the left-hand navigation pane.

## Default View

After selecting your desired Platform, the program opens with the:

- **3D Viewer** ![](https://cdn.document360.io/820c65d9-cf4e-4289-9237-5bc834b3bd3e/Images/Documentation/image-3WVMW0SO.png) on the main screen
- **3D Viewer Settings Platform** ![](https://cdn.document360.io/820c65d9-cf4e-4289-9237-5bc834b3bd3e/Images/Documentation/image-EYZMQ6GY.png) in the left-hand content pane
  - Select the ![](https://cdn.document360.io/820c65d9-cf4e-4289-9237-5bc834b3bd3e/Images/Documentation/image-9VN9E9KL.png) button beside each Component Group you want to visualize as **3D Models** in the 3D Viewer

## Far-left Navigation Icons

- Provide visual representations of available plugins

- Indicate currently open plugins:
  - A solid **blue** **highlight** ![](https://cdn.document360.io/820c65d9-cf4e-4289-9237-5bc834b3bd3e/Images/Documentation/image-AWJFR4C4.png) means that plugin is open on the main screen
  - A vertical blue **line** ![](https://cdn.document360.io/820c65d9-cf4e-4289-9237-5bc834b3bd3e/Images/Documentation/image-3YW5F9NU.png) beside a plugin’s icon means that plugin is open in the left-hand content pane

## Left-hand Navigation Pane

1. Click the ![](https://cdn.document360.io/820c65d9-cf4e-4289-9237-5bc834b3bd3e/Images/Documentation/image-U4TQYAQ7.png) button at the top of the left-hand content pane to close that pane and show the navigation pane.
2. View the full names of available plugins and editing tools next to their representative icons.

3. Click the **Show Sidebar Content** ![](https://cdn.document360.io/820c65d9-cf4e-4289-9237-5bc834b3bd3e/Images/Documentation/image-GB1IBL9U.png) button in the navigation pane’s top right corner to hide the navigation pane and show the left-hand content pane.

Geometry, documents, and metadata aggregated together in workspace (i.e., relational database), such as a warehouse or ship.

A group of components, controls, and other equipment that collectively form a function (e.g., power, cooling)

Gives you an omnipotent bird's eye view of the workspace.
