Simulation Decisions

Use a Decision (Simulation) course card in Beast Core 4 Courseware Editor when you want a learner to select a specific component in a simulated exercise in the Simulation Viewer environment.

Simulation Decision Card Editing

1. Use the dropdown menu in the first text box to change the Decision Card type to Simulation.

2. When the Select Simulation File text box appears, use the dropdown menu to select an available Simulation.

3. Enter a message for the learner in the Prompt text box.

   • This Prompt displays on the learner’s screen

4. Click +Add Response to create a Response Choice.

   Note

   We will discuss the four Response Component text boxes in left to right order.

• Box 1: Use the dropdown menu to select the Component you want the learner to choose as a correct response
  

• Box 2: Use the dropdown menu to select the Flag associated with the Component.
  

• Box 3: Keep the (default) = sign
  

• Box 4: Use the up arrow to set the value 2 (complete)
