Map Key

The numbered elements on the map above are defined below:

1. Compass

• Click the compass to reorient the map with North facing up

• Click again to orient the map with North facing left

2. Date and Time

• The date displays in the month/day/year format

• The time displays in an hours:minutes:seconds format, using 24-hour military time

3. Live button

• The blue Live button indicates when the map’s Timeline is at the current time and day with a green dot on the button

• A gray dot indicates that the map is showing a time either in the past or the future

Note

• Click the Live button to pause time on the map

• Click the Live button again to reset the Timeline back to the current date and time

4. Timeline

• Scrub to the right to view upcoming Events

• Scrub to the left to view past Events

5. Date Picker

• Displays the date currently visualized on the map

• Advance the date 24 hours by clicking on the double arrows at the right end of the date

• Move the date back by 24 hours by clicking the double arrows at the left end of the date

• Pick a date range by clicking on the date, which opens a calendar

6. Event Pill:

• Every Event is represented on the Timeline with a blue Event Pill that displays the name of the Event

7. Playhead

• A faint red vertical line on the Timeline points to the time currently visualized on the map

8. Rocket Icon

• Shows the beginning point of the selected event and that it is an Transport Event

9. Checkpoint Icon

• Shows the ending point of the selected Transport Event

Safety Zones

The safety zones depicted on the above Launch Event map are designated by the SLD45 Safety Office prior to a launch.

• BDA – Blast Danger Area -  – Red Circle

• FCA – Flight Caution Area - Yellow polygon

• FHA – Flight Hazard Area - Darker polygon
