Documents Tab Search

Find component documentation via the Component Processor editing tool’s Documents tab and Search feature in Beast Core 6.

Component Processor → Documents Tab → Search

1. Click the four-diamond icon on the far-left side of the screen to access the Component Processor.

   • Or select Component Processor in the left-hand navigation pane’s Admin section.

     

2. Select the Documents tab on the Process Components screen.

3. Type a keyword (e.g., component name, part of a document’s title) into the Search textbox.

   

4. Try a different keyword if a searched word yields no document results.

   

5. When a search results table contains more than one entry, you can sort the Name and Title columns.

   • A to Z

   • Z to A

     

6. To open an available document:

   • Click the Ellipsis icon in that document’s table row

   • Select Open Document on the pop-up Action Menu

     

   • Your selected document opens in the Document Viewer application
