Zoom to Component

Using the Zoom feature in the Beast Core 6 System Viewer quickly moves you to a closeup view of a selected component.

Zoom to a Component

1. After loading your desired System(s), click to highlight a Component on the 3D Model.

2. Right click the highlighted component.

3. A pop-up Component menu shows the name of the component and available options for further exploration.

   

4. Select Zoom to Component to Zoom directly to that location in the 3D Model.

5. Use the W and S keys, or your mouse wheel, to adjust your view if you’re too close or not close enough.

Alternative

You can also zoom to a searched component.

Zoom to a Component Connection

1. Left click to highlight a component on the 3D Model.

2. Press esc to reclaim your cursor, then select the Connections icon at the bottom of the left-hand Details pane.

   

3. Click the three dots ( … ) beside the connecting component you’d like to view. (This opens a dropdown menu.)

4. Choose Zoom To Component to zoom directly to the selected connection.
