Getting Started in Beast Core

Minimum Specifications - View the minimum hardware needed to run Beast Core on your device, HMI options, and recommended network speed.

Platform Selector - Displays after the Consent Banner landing page when a user’s Beast Core application contains more than one Platform option.

Intro to Beast Core Application Plugins - Learn how to access Beast Core’s compatible Application plugins and when to use them.

Content Pane - Learn how to open and interact with an available plugin alongside a different plugin already open on the main screen.

Navigation Pane: Application Menu - Access plugins via navigation icons or their full-text names on the left-hand navigation or content pane.

Toggle Between Light and Dark Background Modes - Access the background selection menu to set your desired preference.

3D Viewer Settings

Load Your Workspace - On the Groups tab, select the Systems or component groups you want to visualize in an interactive 3D Model.

Change Opacity Settings - Learn how and when to change system and component group Opacity settings to customize your 3D Model viewing.

Adjust Visualizations Using the Visualizer - View loaded systems in different static colors, visualize system flow patterns, or adjust system colors.

Adjust Camera Preferences - Change your vantage point of a loaded 3D Model via camera preference settings.

Rename a Custom Component Group - Rename a newly created custom component group in its editable textbox on the 3D Viewer → Groups tab.

Save or Upload Scenes - Save and upload 3D Scenes that support your specific viewing and collaboration needs.

Navigate Your Workspace - Learn how to use your keyboard and mouse to navigate your workspace.

Zoom to Component - Use this feature to move quickly to a close-up view of a selected component.

Document Viewer

Download and View a Document - View a downloaded document in its native viewing application.

Navigate the Document Viewer - Select a document to open, then use Document Viewer toolbar options to interact with the document.

Search in Document Viewer - Use the Document Viewer Search feature to find content related to a specific keyword within a loaded document.

Print a Document or Save as PDF - Select the printer icon on the Document toolbar and follow the Print menu and Save As prompts.
